COVID-19 Policy

The State of California has removed the face mask requirement for healthcare offices.

North County Optometry will now make face masks optional for patients. We still recommend face masks for all patients but it is NOT required. If you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms – a common courtesy would be to wear a face mask. Some patients may also feel more comfortable wearing face masks in a healthcare setting – we welcome you to maintain wearing them.

Dr. Shulkin and some staff will continue wearing face masks to minimize any possible exposure and more importantly, prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the flu. North County Optometry will maintain disinfecting between patients in the exam rooms and disinfecting of frames after they have been tried on.

Thank you for cooperating with our face mask policy and for keeping COVID-19 from spreading.
